The Gospel Lesson this Sunday (September 18, 2022) is Luke 16:1-13. It's a story sometimes called The Parable of the Dishonest Manager. In it Jesus says that the "children of this age" are smarter than Christians. He also tells us to "make friends for ourselves by means of dishonest wealth." What the heck does that mean??! (In all honesty preachers generally waffle at this point, or avoid it all together.)
But not me. "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. That my motto.
See you Sunday!
