April Food on the Fourth

The following items are those that are requested by the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank.

    • Cans of Mandarin Oranges
    • Cans of Ravioli
    • Cans of Refried Beans
    • Cans of Corn
    • Top Ramen
    • Cans of Green Beans and Carrots

Food will be collected around the altar on Sunday, April 26th, although food may be dropped off at the church and left by the Food on the 4th cupboard anytime during the month. 

 

You may leave bags of food by the Food on the 4th cupboard in the narthex at anytime during the month, and food will be placed around the altar at worship services on on the 4th Sunday of each month. The sorting and distributing of the food will be on Monday after the 4th Sunday at 8:30 AM in the narthex. You are always welcome to come and help with the sorting! Both of the food banks that we serve, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank, continue to express their gratitude for the generosity of Messiah Congregation! So far in 2025, 3,023 pounds of food have been donated to the two food banks that we serve!
