May Food on the Fourth Requests

The items listed are the foods that are most needed at the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank in Ridgefield.

• Cans of Chicken Noodle Soup
• One Can Meals: Chili, Chicken Chili, Ravioli, Stew, Spaghettios etc.
• Cold Cereal
• Boxed dinners: Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper Pasta Helper, Rice-a-roni etc.
• Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Mustard*
• Optional, but greatly appreciated: Paper Towels and Toilet Paper

*Although condiments are not food per se, having them for sandwiches or available for certain meats greatly adds to a meal. Condiments are not available for the Food Banks to purchase at a reduced price.

Any other additional food items that you wish to donate are also most welcome!

Food will be collected  and placed around the altar on May 27th. Food bags may be left by the Food on the 4th Cupboard in the narthex at any time during the month.  Thank you for your continued generosity which is making a difference in the lives of others! During the month of April, 577  pounds of food were collected, and each of the two food banks that we serve were given $200 to purchase additional food.
