                                                                                                             February Food Requests 2025

The Lewis River Mobile Food Bank is asking for a number of items that will help re-stock their shelves. Our collection of these items will be Sunday February 23rd although bags of food may be left by the cupboard in the narthex any time during the month. 

• Cans of Soup (all kinds)
• Cans of Baked  Beans
• Bags of Sugar (4 pound size)
• Cans of Corn
• Cans of Peaches, Pears and Mandarin Oranges
• Hamburger Helper and Rice-a-Roni
• Macaroni and Cheese
• Oatmeal-one pound size (either quick cooking or Old-fashioned)

We will be sorting and distributing food on Monday, February 24th at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Anyone interested in helping with this ministry is invited to attend. Please contact Lynne Radke, 360-907-2318 for more details.

In January, Messiah congregation donated 549 pounds of food which was distributed to the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank. Thank you for your generous and caring support of those in need of food in our community!
