A Wallowa backpacking trip, the first since Covid, is being organized for this summer.
The plan is to go to Echo Lake in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of Northeastern Oregon for a 4-night 5-day trip from August 4-8.
The cost is $95 and payment is needed to hold your spot. Participants are responsible for carrying all of their own gear plus up to 8 pounds of group gear. This is a moderately strenuous hike of 5.4 miles with an elevation gain of 1,770' to Echo Lake.
This is a great way to get away from the bustle of city life and "Be Still".
