Messiah Lutheran Church will hold three services on Ash Wednesday, March 5, to mark the start of the Lenten season.
Two services will be at the Messiah Hazel Dell campus. The first service will be at 10:30 a.m and the second at 6 p.m.
Prior to the 6 p.m. service there will be a soup supper soup supper from 5 - 5:45 p.m. in the lower level dining hall. The 6 p.m. service will also be livestreamed on Messiah's Youtube channel.
At 7:30 p.m., the final service of the day will be held at Lava Java in Ridgefield. Lava Java is located at 2 S 56th Pl #102 in Ridgefield
With the start of Lent, the community is also welcome to join in weekly soup suppers and midweek worship at the Hazel Dell campus. Starting on March 12, each Wednesday at Messiah will have a childrens' program beginning at 4:30 p.m. followed by a soup supper at 5 p.m., worship with Holden evening prayer at 6 p.m. and a service project from 6:30-7 p.m.
