Pr. Peter invites you to a conversation based on a reading of “Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the U.S.” Bonus session with the author!

Not too late to check it out! | Tuesdays at 6:00a | Wednesdays at 10:00a | RSVP required via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. | the reading schedule is below

Pr. Peter and Intern Pr. Maggie invite you to join them in reading and discussing Pr. Lenny's book, Dear Church. Part manifesto, part confession, and all love letter, Dear Church offers a vision for the future of the ELCA and the broader mainline Christian community of faith. Dear Church rejects the narrative of church decline and calls everyone—leaders and laity alike—to the front lines of the church's renewal through racial equality and justice.

It's a challenging read. Pr. Peter does not expect that you'll be comfortable with all of what Pr. Duncan writes. He and Intern Maggie do think you will see the whiteness of our church in a new way.

Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the U.S. is available at Amazon in paperback and Kindle editions.
