During midweek evening Lenten worship, Pastors Peter and Kathy, and Pastoral Intern Katie will be presenting a sermon series entitled "Persistent Love. Inconsistent World."

Offering on Wednesday evenings will go to ELCA's Lutheran Disaster Response fund which helps victims of the war.Make checks payable to Lutheran Disaster Response.

The theme for this series revolves around the effects and experience of change. Topics will include:

  1. moving and relocation
  2. the challenges of the pandemic on students, parents, and educators
  3. the loss of a loved one
  4. divisiveness in our country
  5. the Church

Each Wednesday evening will feature a Messiah member who has experienced the change at hand, along with a homily based on a similar Biblical story. The driving question will be, "How does God respond to such change?"

The pastors invite you to join in this Lenten journey as part of your added spiritual discipline for the season.
