Prs. Peter and Kathy are trying an experiment. They will provide outdoor, in-person Holy Communion services at three off-site public parks in Clark County.
The services will be brief, 10 to 15-minutes each, and accommodate up to five people at a time. Pastors are offering two or three service times at each location. The informal worship will include music by Charles, prayer, Bible reading, a short meditation, and Holy Communion.
Pastors are using an online sign-up form (see links below) for worshipers to make reservations at each location for the various times available. Participants may also call or leave a voicemail with Sally Dost in the front office (360.574.7081) to make their reservations. Of course, you are welcome without a reservation at any of the locations, too, and to invite guests. The pastors will cycle those without reservations into the services, keeping to the current mandated group size limit.
For now, the maximum number of participants will be five. If the experiment catches on and local authorities announce that larger group sizes are permissible, the pastors would hope to increase the services' size to ten participants.
