Echo Moran-Prince, Prevention and Intervention Specialist at Columbia River High School wrote this letter to Messiah:
I wanted to reach out and thank you all so much for the help you offered our Christmas families. Both families were beyond grateful for your help and love, one is a single mom who struggles with mental health and she knew she would not be able to provide a Christmas for her daughter. Your donations made Christmas possible for them. Our other family is an immigrant family and currently living with relatives as they cannot afford their own place quite yet. You also made their Christmas possible.
I would also like to thank you all on the behalf of our school for all the donations you provide to our care closet. We have lots of needy students and your donations make it possible for them to bring home much needed items that they normally cannot provide for themselves.
