With the retirement of Jessica Potts in November and Laurie Sykes in December, staffing and staffing configurations are changing. Lindsay Raymond has been hired as interim bookkeeper. This may become a permanent position once staffing has been reconfigured. Because of the major staffing changes, it was decided to postpone resuming the pastoral intern program until the 2027-2028 school year.
Approved the Endowment Committee grant recommendations with assistance from Messiah's local benevolence fund to fully fund some of the requests. Discussed possible changes to the Endowment Committee rules. However, it was determined those changes would require congregational approval to change the bylaws of the constitution. It was pointed out that the Endowment Committee is not constrained by incoming requests. The committee is constitutionally empowered to determine worthy candidates and award grants with or without requests from members of the congregation.

A CLT sub committee, consisting of Sheri Backous, Mark Roskopf, Doug Ruecker and Brenda Gardner was formed to plan the retirement festivities for Jessica Potts.
The stewardship program "Rooted in Grace, Gifted for Growth" will begin soon, and run through the end of the calendar year.
Layne Asplund has taken the lead on sourcing a replacement for the cross at Hazel Dell. Since a solid wood replacement has been impossible to find, we are looking at Glulam wood as a possible replacement.
HVAC Maintenance contracts pending one more bid.
Additional bids for tree removal and concrete repair, as well as asphalt resealing at Hazel Dell are also pending.
