The West Vancouver Parkinson's Disease Support Group meets the third Friday of every month in the Fellowship Hall.

This support group is sponsored by the Parkinson's Resources of Oregon and SW Washington, headquartered in Beaverton.

This group meets in person, but also has on-line attendees via Zoom.

The group used to meet at Legacy Hospital before the COVID pandemic.At that time, between 30 and 40 people met together, both patients and caregivers.Today, about 15 meet in person and a small handful join by computer. A speaker is invited to speak for a while on a topic and the rest of the meeting time (1-2:30) is open to conversation between the folks regarding what's on their minds.

All are extremely grateful to the church for providing the free space.Anyone at Messiah is always welcome to join the group.
