On Saturday, October 5 Messiah will be hosting a Blessing of the the Pets event at the church's Hazel Dell campus.
Pastor Robyn will be outside in the parking lot in front of preschool at 905 NW 94th Street, Vancouver, from 11 am - 1 pm to bless pets in commemoration of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi.
Pets of all shapes and sizes are welcome to stop by for a blessing. Children are also welcome to bring stuffed animals to receive a blessing.
She will also bless a picture of a pet that is unable to come to the blessing or to remember a pet that has passed.
