The second annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration for Kids and Youth is Monday, January 20 from 10 a.m.to Noon at Messiah Hazel Dell.
This free event is designed for kids (ages 0-18) and their family members to meet friends, learn about social justice themes, and build community. We strive to make this an inclusive event that values the diversity and lived experiences of our community.
All kids in 8th grade or below should be accompanied by a parent, relative or guardian.
There will be story time, singing, exploratory STEM-based play, arts and crafts, MLK Day Bingo, free t-shirts (limited quantities available), and nut-free refreshments.
