Messiah is planning to offer Godly Play once again starting in the next few weeks, and you can help us decide the schedule. What is Godly Play?
Godly Play is a beautiful Montessori-based method of telling the narrative of God and God's people. Using handmade materials in a room that is lovingly and thoughtfully designed to center and respect children, Godly Play tells the stories of the bible, teaches the vocabulary of faith and church, and introduces children to the liturgy, sacraments, and traditions of the Christian faith, bridging the gap between their time in Godly Play and their experience in worship. Welcoming all children from 3 years to 5th grade, Godly Play is a place for your children to grow, explore, and of course, play, as they experience the beauty and mystery of God's word and love in fellowship with one another. Everyone is welcome in our circle.
