An Overview  

The Endowment Committee distributes funds earned on the invested principal of the Endowment Fund. The purpose is to "enhance and further the mission and ministries of Messiah Lutheran Church" (MLC Constitution). The Committee adheres to the rules and regulations of our church's Constitutional bylaws. Distributions are made each year, based on a calculated average of prior years balances.

Requests for funds must be submitted by downloading, completing, and returning the MLC Endowment Fund Grant Questions. Please return your responses to This email address is being protected from spambots. If you are unable to answer by email, you may submit your answers in writing by bringing or mailing them to the front office at the Hazel Dell campus. Your requests may be submitted any time but will be considered by the committee quarterly.

The Endowment Committee will consider requests this year in July, September, and December. Next year, decisions will be made on the normal quarterly basis of March, June, September, and December.
