At our most recent meeting on April 8, 2025:

Reviewed staff openings and status-Messiah North music leader position posted; interviews scheduled for facilities director; Hazel Dell music leader position will be posted asap.

Discussed status of insurance renewal and efforts to obtain competitive quotes.

Discussed the need to get an audit team together for a May financial audit.

Noted Lent offerings are at $830. (A matching gift pends for CA wildfire relief efforts.)

Updated building repair issues, including approving replacement of the rotting cross in front with like kind using memorial funds. A dedication is planned. (Sidewalk repair will come from building maintenance funds.)

Noted budgets and reports are due in early May for the June 1 semi annual meeting.

Doug R. volunteered to assist with a synod request for a stewardship survey.

The Cub Scout den we recently agreed to sponsor as a Chartering Organization will hold a Bike Rodeo in the church parking lot on May 19.

Randy and Jen Legler agreed to represent Messiah at the Synod Assembly in June. The pastors will also attend.

Approved Endowment Committee recommendations for disbursements.

Made minor revisions to our Nursery Policy prior to reopening the Hazel Dell nursery beginning with Easter.

Approved Outdoor school for the preschool from May 27 - June 12.
