A recap of August's CLT meeting:
- Investigation in to becoming an internship site once again, is in progress. Updates will be provided as we navigate this process.
- The church continues to encounter individuals with profound needs. Our Pastoral team are incredibly grateful to be able to access funds that make a substantive difference in people lives
.- Facility improvements/repairs are a continued need for Messiah. Our Tuesday volunteers are making a big difference is performing a lot of tasks. The building task force team is seeking bids on time critical repairs/maintenance that cannot be accomplished by our volunteers.
- The church has made improvements for our paid employee staff, primarily around payroll. The new system that has been reviewed and approved will cut down on payroll issues that we have experienced in the past.
- A financial review was conducted by an exceptional group of volunteers. The findings of the review were good.
- June endowment committee grants were reviewed and voted on.
- With the Pastor's return from their medical leave, normal activities/groups are resuming.
- Fall kick off activities were discussed, this event is scheduled for September 13th.
