June Food on the Fourth Requests

Applesauce is  the number one request of the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank for this June. The following is the complete list of requested foods to replenish their supplies. 

  • Applesauce 
  • One can meals: Chili and Ravioli
  • Beef Stew
  • Cans of Pineapple
  • One pound bags of rice
  • Cans of Mandarin Oranges
  • Cans of Spaghetti Sauce  (no glass jars please)
  • Cans of Diced Tomatoes
  • Cans of Tomato Sauce

Food may be left by the Food on the 4th cupboard in the narthex any time during the month and it will be placed around the altar at worship services on June 28th.   Both of the food banks that we serve, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank, continue to express their gratitude for the generosity of Messiah Congregation! Thank you!

 

You may leave bags of food by the Food on the 4th cupboard in the narthex at anytime during the month, and food will be placed around the altar at worship services on on the 4th Sunday of each month. The sorting and distributing of the food will be on Monday after the 4th Sunday at 8:30 AM in the narthex. You are always welcome to come and help with the sorting! Both of the food banks that we serve, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Lewis River Mobile Food Bank, continue to express their gratitude for the generosity of Messiah Congregation! So far in 2025, 3,023 pounds of food have been donated to the two food banks that we serve!
