Upcoming Events

The Lewis River Mobile Food Bank has requested the following foods in June. 

• Cans of Fruit Cocktail
• Cans of Chili
• Macaroni and Cheese
• Top Ramen
• Box Meals such as Hamburger Helper, Rice-a-Roni  etc.
• Baked Beans
• Soups of all kinds

Food will be collected at worship services on June 22nd. The sorting and distributing of the food will be on June 23rd at 8:30 AM in the narthex, and you are always welcome to come and help with the sorting. As the number of families requesting help with food increases, the food banks continue to express their gratitude to us for the generosity of Messiah Congregation!

Food bags may be left by the Food on the 4th Cupboard in the narthex at any time during the month.  Thank you for your continued generosity which is making a difference in the lives of others! During the month of April, 577  pounds of food were collected, and each of the two food banks that we serve were given $200 to purchase additional food.
