December Food on the 4th
The Lewis River Mobile Food bank is in need of the following items:
- Cans of tuna
- Cans of Stew
- Fruit: Cans of Pears, Peaches, and Fruit Cocktail
- Canned Veggies: Corn and Green Beans
- Canned soup of all kinds
- Macaroni and Cheese
Optional: Paper towels and toilet paper
Our collection of food will be slightly different this month in that the bags will not be placed around the altar on the 4th Sunday because of Christmas activities. Bags will be available in the narthex throughout the month of December, and filled bags of food may be placed by the Food on the 4th cupboard in the southeast corner of the narthex at any time during the month. We will sort and distribute the food the week following Christmas on December 30th at 8:30 AM.
As 2024 comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your concern and willingness to share with others in our community throughout the year. From January of this year through the month of November, 5,467 pounds of food were donated and over $6000 was given and divided between the two food banks that we serve. You do make a difference in the lives of others! Thank you very much!
