Last summer roof replacements were completed on both the main building and the intern house. At the time, we borrowed money internally from other Messiah accounts to ensure that the replacement was timely and completed during the summer. As of now, all internal loans have been repaid.
Lower Level Dining Hall Improvements
A team led by Jessica Potts, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, is in the process of getting bids to renovate the lower level dining hall floor and furniture. Recommendations will be brought to the Church Leadership Team in March for their approval. The team consists of Jessica Potts, Winnie Teeter, Cheryl Sanders, and Maureen Weber.
A search team has been formed and will begin the task of putting together a request for proposal (RFP) and advertising the position this week. Members of the search team are Sheri Backous, Anna Countryman, Steve Friebel, Mike Odren, Hope Quinn, Doug Ruecker, Pastors Peter and Kathy and Intern Pastor Joel.
