All Saints' Sunday at Messiah, Nov. 1

For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

Each year at Messiah, we observe All Saints' Sunday, a day when we pause to remember those whom we lost most recently and commemorate all the saints who joined Christ in the Church Triumphant.

During Messiah's livestream worship, we will remember by name and photograph those from our community who have died. We will toll a handbell and pause for each one, as we would if we were meeting in person, and give our prayers of thanks for their lives and the legacy they leave us. There will also be open space during the prayers for you to remember others who have died.

After the livestream service is over, we invite you to come to the Hazel Dell campus anytime between 11:00a and noon to light a candle at an outdoor station under the church's northwest breezeway. Additionally, Prs. Peter and Kathy will be present for those who would like to meet for conversation and prayer.
