Mission & Ministry: Our Opportunity to Give

"See What 'Yes' Can Do" Devotion for Oct. 6-7 | by the Rev. Steve Olson, Capital Campaign Consultant for Messiah |

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. - Mt. 28:20

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me. - Mt. 25:35

REFLECT: God has said 'Yes' to us through our baptism. In response, we gather as a community to carry out our shared mission: We Care and Share, Serve and Celebrate through God's Love in Christ. This campaign is for the purpose of carrying out mission and ministry. Together, as a community, we are discovering what it means to love God and love one's neighbors. By adding a Mission Developer, we will discover new ways to be engaged with our neighbors and community. By caring for our facilities, we seek to be good stewards of the properties entrusted to us for the sake of future generations. By paying off our mortgage early, we will free up resources to strengthen our shared ministry.

PRAY: That our gifts and commitments will be used for the glory of God as We Care and Share, Serve and Celebrate through God's Love in Christ.
