Comfort and Hope | Tuesday, Dec. 18 with music by Celtic Muse | 7p

by Jim Dawson | I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the earth rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. - John 16:20

For some, Christmas is a time of good cheer and generous giving. Yes, a time of glad tidings and wishful thinking.

Yet for others Christmas is a time of loneliness and bewilderment. Not all can welcome the encouragement of peace and good will and the expectation of joyfulness and contentment during this holiday season.

If you find yourself feeling a little less than joyous, please join us for a Christmas Comfort and Hope worship service sponsored by Messiah Lutheran Stephen Ministry and enjoy live harp music performed by Jennifer Pratt-Walter and Valerie Blessley of Celtic Muse. Come and be connected with an experience of comfort and hope, Tuesday evening Dec 18 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome.

If you need a ride to and from the church, please email Sally Dost in Messiah's front office or leave her a voicemail at 360-574-7081.

We also seek volunteers to provide transportation for those who would like to attend the Comfort and Hope service but need a ride to and from the church. If you would like to volunteer, please email Jim or Diane Dawson or call them at 360-891-1174.
