Movies ’n More is a small group that meets twice-a-month to enjoy the company of others, view contemporary cinema, engage in theological conversation and... eat popcorn. The group always meets at the home of Tom and Helen Powell who have... well... a GINORMOUS theater room. This group meets the 2nd Friday and 4th Saturday of every month. No heavy agenda—just parents, grandparents, and guardians supporting each other in the challenging work of raising children well. Topics will include child development, mental health, dating, sibling rivalry, technology guidelines, and others that members of the group would like to discuss.
Child care available.

Purposes:

  1. to engage in relaxed and guided conversation about interesting and often profound theological topics;
  2. to enjoy some of the finest craft beers anywhere;
  3. and to do it with some of the best people around.

Untapped PubUntapped Pub, PortlandTheology on Tap (TOT) meets at local craft breweries and pubs in North Portland or Clark County. The meeting days are typically the third Tuesday or Thursday of the month. The location, dates, and topic are disclosed in a monthly TOT email from Pr. Peter and our pastoral intern.
