Theology on Tap - May 1 - Trivia on Tap

RSVP is required. Click here to register. Previous months of Theology on Tap have quickly filled to capacity. Seating is limited for this event. UPDATE on 04.22.2017. Our pub owner is allowing us to add more seating. There are still open seats.

Topic
Trivia on Tap

Synopsis
Charge up your thinking caps and hide your digital devices as we break from our normal pattern for Theology on Tap. This time, YOU'RE the experts! Test your knowledge with profound (and pro-fun!) questions about Lutheranism, Christianity in pop culture, former Theology on Tap topics, Messiah, and the Bible. Prizes will be awarded for category winners, with a grand-prize for the winning team and a discussion of the covered topics at the end of the evening. Intern Pr. Mary and Pr. Peter will recuse themselves from the competition and serve as judges. Pr. Kathy will serve as final arbiter.

Location
Flyboy Tap House, 316 Southeast 123rd Avenue, #4, Vancouver, WA
This will be our inaugural visit to the new Flyboy Tap House in Vancouver. We have the entire pub (normally closed on Mondays) reserved for our event. You are welcome to arrive as early as 6:00pm to order a dinner entrée or two. An April 14 food review by Karen Livingston for The Columbian said, "Flyboy soars with exceptional sandwiches." See the review. Click here for a menu.

Preparatory Homework
None, zilch, nada.
For the truly obsessive-compulsive, here are the categores for the event.
1. "No, you're Lutheran!"
2. Movies, Sports, and Religion
3. Remember Theology on Tap
4. Messiah Fun Facts
5. The Bible
You'll be in teams by table group. Collective wisdom will reign supreme.

Cover Charge Amount - $2/person
We lifted the per person cover charge to $2/event. Room rentals are rising everywhere. We also use the cover charge to pay our guest speakers a small honorarium and cover their food and beverages. Thank you for your understanding.

We hope to see you at this post-Easter iteration of Theology on Tap.

Beers and Blessings to you,
Team TOT - Pr. Peter and Intern Pr. Mary
