Re-Thinking Church - a special first session of the new Adult Bible study on the Book of Acts with Greg Rhodes, Pr. Peter, and Intern Pr. Ryan

Wednesday, September 27  |  Presentations at 10:00am and 6:00pm  |  Hazel Dell Campus

Greg and Pr. Peter will be sharing how they (and many others) are seeing the ground shift in regard to the church's work, the challenges and opportunities ahead, and how these may impact Messiah and its future ministries. Greg is fresh from an event hosted by Luther Seminary by the same title where church leaders from all over North America, representing denominations of all stripes, wrestled with what's going on across the country. Greg and Peter will talk about how their findings, along with information gleaned from the congregation's discernment process last winter and spring are informing conversations within the Church Leadership Team and pastors ... and engage you in the conversation too.

You are invited attend this first session without obligation to have to attend the following six classes led by Pr. Peter and Intern Pr. Ryan. But the similarities of context between the first century Church and today may surprise you! We will be delving into the Book of Acts for inspiration, courage, and faithfulness as we all move forward as followers of Jesus.

Classes will be twice on Wednesdays, Sept. 27 - Nov. 15
10:00am and 6:00pm
