Julie Backous hired as Messiah's North County Campus Site Coordinator

This past week, Julie Backous began her new role as the congregation's North County Campus (NCC) Site Coordinator. Already a faithful attender and contributor at NCC, Julie will serve in a part-time job that includes organizing volunteers, keeping the Sunday experience one of warm welcome and high quality, and extending the congregation's reach into the North County community.

Julie, who was baptized at Messiah by Pr. Al Solmonson on Christmas Eve at the age of 16, is a long-time member of the congregation. She and her husband Randy (now deceased) were married by Pr. Freeman Cockram in the old sanctuary (now the gym) two months before the current sanctuary opened. Today she also serves as a Stephen Minister.

She said of this new facet to her involvement at Messiah, "It just feels right."

Please join the Church Leadership Team, pastors, and staff in warmly welcoming Julie.
