What was an important Jesus moment in your life?
My working at Messiah as a nursery attendant and then a preschool teacher was a total God thing in response to my asking Him, "what do You want of me?" when I graduated school and had no idea what to do. Jesus grabbed my hand, pulled me to the door, and gave me a smile and a shove. What is the best vacation place you've ever been to?I went to Phoenix, Arizona for a soccer match the summer of 2013 and had a blast. Hiking in 103° weather was a fun challenge, and the botanical gardens were amazing.
If you could sit down with anyone in the world for coffee, who would it be?
Mauro Rosales because (1) he's my favorite Sounder and (2) he's wealthy enough to buy me several blended soy java chip frappuccinos.
What is a fun fact that few people know about you?
I had waist-length blue hair in 8th grade.
What do you like best about working for Jesus and his people?
Being with His littlest disciples at the preschool and learning how to really live and love. I have come to truly understand why I must become like these little ones to truly glorify in God's glory.
What is something that you've learned about yourself or your faith from your students?
I learned that in most cases, the children's faith is stronger, clearer and purer than my own. While I try to be my students role model as far as witnessing goes, they often prove to be the better witnesses.
