My grandfather passed away about five years ago. While he was always a man of faith, he never really discussed his beliefs. When I attended his memorial service, one person after the next got up to talk about how he had helped them countless times without ever asking anything in return. As I listened to each of these testimonials, I realized that my grandfather didn’t discuss his faith because he was too busy living it. He may not have talked the talk, but he walked the walk and to me, that’s the most important reminder of Jesus’ love.

Honolulu has been my favorite vacation destination so far. Eating breakfast on the beach and falling asleep to the crashing of waves will never get old.
I ate chicken nuggets with mayonnaise. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I can assure you, it was not.
Every day is a wonderful reminder of the complexity of the human spirit. The opportunity to serve the community in whatever ways possible is something I truly enjoy.
The circumstances in which I learned about a position with Messiah makes me believe I was called here for a reason. Working at Messiah over the last few weeks has affirmed that I’m where I’m supposed to be.
